Started to get problems with my eyes back in autumn, working long hours at a monitor, so I slowly started adjusting to working with traditional mediums. Made a bit of monochrome exercises with pencil to begin with.
Lamia will be published in Svenska Serier later in 2015. I’m currently putting together an English translation and will try to get it into a non-Swedish periodical/anthology/something-something-dark-side as well. I’m also toying with the idea of using it to put together an eBook or application – something that can purchased and read with ease on the device of your choice. (It would be REALLY cool if I could get it to render on a binary b/w eReader. It’s all lineart, after all!)
Made for SIS14. Unfortunatly, Sork is only available in Swedish at the moment.

My dear ol’ mum has been (not so subtly) nudging me to make more monsters – to be printed and colored by creative wee children all around. Fair enough, in between dry-spells in commissioned work for clients and the essential crippling depression of the artist, I’ve started sketching and inking that which goes bump in the night. The plan is to make a pack of PDFs for print both on standard A4 and US letter-sized paper, for a fairly negligible sum. Perhaps preprint a couple of booklets and bring to conventions and such.
That mummy looks a bit lonely. Perhaps add a bit of Egyptian architecture behind him for the final version :)
